Manages the Financial Assistance office needs.

Duties:
- Assists with maintenance of the financial aid files and the financial assistance database.
- Corresponds with students and their families regarding their financial assistance documents and their financial assistance award.
- Answers phones, responds to the general office email, and books appointments for the office.
- Assists prospective and current students through the financial aid process.
- Facilitates the student employment program.
- Processes student contracts and posts open student positions.

Skills Needed:
- Experience working with Microsoft Office Suite of programs (Excel, Word and PowerPoint) or Google Suite of apps (Sheets, Docs and Slides). The ability to work with multiple CRM systems.
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Must have good customer service skills.
- Must have good problem-solving skills.
- Must be familiar with minute-taking techniques.
- Must have the ability to supervise student workers and have excellent organizational skills as well as attention to detail.
- Experience with Datatel would be preferred.
- Must be able to keep information confidential as needed.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key interfaces:
- Interacts with faculty, staff, students, and may interact with external contracts.
- May interact with other administrative staff in the College.

Qualifications:
EITHER
- High school diploma and a minimum of three years of experience in a similar position. Experience in educational setting is preferred.
OR
- Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 1 year of experience.

Working conditions & physical demands:
- General office setting with moderate noise level
