The School of Business at Meredith College invites applications for a part-time position as Entrepreneur-in-Residence at the rank of Instructor beginning Fall 2024.

Duties:  
- Be willing and qualified to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in Entrepreneurship and Innovation.
- Lead workshops and seminars in Entrepreneurship and Innovation.
- Engage and advise students in professional activities with entrepreneurs in the community.
- Lead the annual campus-wide business plan competition.
- Display excellence in teaching, mentoring, and service to the School.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:     
- A Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 8 years of work experience relevant to entrepreneurship.
- Consistent record of working with startups or investor-backed startups.
- Preference will be given to candidates that have founded or co-founded a startup.
- Proven network of critical relationships in the business or private capital sector.
- Strong desire to develop and mentor entrepreneurs.

For this part-time position, a normal teaching load is 3 courses per academic year, with oversight of the campus-wide business plan competition. Summer teaching for additional compensation may also be available. Commitment to academic excellence and the ability to work effectively and collegially are expected.
