Provide operational and daily management support for the Technology Services Help Desk as well the STAT team members staffing the help desk.

Duties:
- Manage day to day operations of the Help Desk and the STAT Team.
- Provide first-level support and resolve reported issues from employees and students.
- Provide timely communication on ticket status and resolution.
- Installs and upgrades new hardware, operating systems and applications software as needed.
- Update and maintain Help Desk Documentation and knowledge base articles.
- Review and create KB articles.
- Participates in projects and duties assigned by the Information Technology Support Services Managers.
- Continuously improve upon technical skills sets within assigned areas of expertise.
- Continuously improve upon soft skill sets required to deliver outstanding customer service in a fast paced environment.

Skills Needed:
- Proficiency in the installation and support of Mac OS X, Microsoft Windows 7/8/10 and Microsoft Office 2013/2016/365.
- Must have excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and customer service skills.
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Must have excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Must have excellent troubleshooting skills.

Key interfaces:
- Interacts with other members of Technology Services and STAT Team.
- Interact with Meredith students, staff, and faculty.

Education & Experience:
- High School diploma.
- 3 years of relevant work experience.
- Experience working in higher education student support preferred.

Working conditions & physical demands:
- General office setting with moderate noise level.
- May occasionally lift objects weighing up to 25 lbs.
