Meredith College seeks qualified candidates for a part time Physics Instructor or Assistant Professor in the Department of Chemistry, Physics, and Geoscience. The position will begin in August 2024. This position is an annual position with an opportunity to renew. The position can be half time or ¾ time and requirements may be discussed during the interview process.

Duties:
The courses will include college physics I and II with labs, with a possibility of teaching general physics I and II with labs, and may include other related courses.

Qualifications:
Applicants must have a Masters or a Ph.D. in Physics or a closely related field. Demonstrated excellence in teaching at the undergraduate level is a primary factor in the selection process.
