Performs a variety of office support and/or administrative duties for Athletic Director and coaches.  Position is part-time (25-29 hours per week) and is eligible for limited benefits.

Duties:
- Manage department budget, including reporting expenditures and revenues for 10 sports teams.
- Create and/or process purchase orders, invoice payments, credit card reconciliation.
- Support office management including ordering and maintaining supplies and equipment, creating program announcements, supporting departmental/program events, greeting students & visitors/answering phone, interdepartmental communication, filing, campus errands, updating bulletin boards, maintaining and monitoring budget, maintaining security of files and departmental records.
- Monitor the safety and condition of department/program facilities and report needs.
- Coordinate the scheduling of internal and external events as well as summer sports camps for program facility areas.
- Coordinate and manage arrangements for meetings, conferences, travel and special events for the Athletics staff, coaches, and teams.
- Serve as contact for and provide information to current and prospective students, as well as community members interested in programs you serve.
- Perform other miscellaneous duties as needed or assigned.

Skills Needed:
- Excellent communication skills, organizational ability, time management, initiative, maturity, professionalism and customer-service attitude.
- Must be able to effectively communicate, verbally and in writing, with supervisor, coworkers, customers and others.
- Strong computer skills including extensive experience with Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite.
- Experience with or ability to learn web software associated with budget processes.
- Experience in an academic setting is preferred. Some experience in a sport or recreational setting helpful.

Key interfaces:
- Interacts regularly with Athletic Director, staff, coaches, and students in the College.

Education & Experience:
- High school diploma required. College experience helpful.

Working conditions & physical demands:
- Must be available to work on campus.
- General office setting with moderate noise level.
- May occasionally have to lift objects weighing up to 25 lbs.
