Meredith College seeks qualified candidates for an Assistant Professor of Chemistry in a tenure track position in the Department of Chemistry, Physics, and Geoscience. The position will begin in August 2024.

Duties:
Responsibilities include teaching general and organic chemistry lectures and labs, and upper level chemistry courses, as well as mentoring undergraduate research students, advising students, professional development, college-wide committee work, and active involvement within the Department.

Qualifications:
Applicants must have a Ph.D. in chemistry with a strong background in Organic Chemistry. Demonstrated excellence in teaching at the undergraduate level is a primary factor in the selection process.
