The School of Business at Meredith College invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position in Business Analytics and Information Systems at the rank of Assistant Professor.

Duties:  
- Be willing and qualified to teach in undergraduate and graduate courses in Business Analytics and Information Systems.
- Produce high quality scholarly research leading to publications in refereed journals.
- Advise students and engage in professional activities in the School.
- Serve on various committees at the School and College level.
- Display excellence in teaching, intellectual contributions, advising, and service to the School and College.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:     
- A Ph.D. or D.B.A. in Business Analytics, MIS, or closely-related field from an AACSB-accredited program is highly preferred (ABD will be considered).
- Preference will be given to candidates that have demonstrated competencies using various data analytics software tools and applications.
- Demonstration of positive teaching experiences teaching data/quantitative methods/statistics or information systems.
- Demonstration of scholarly contribution through refereed journal publications and other intellectual contributions. Publications in the scholarship of teaching and learning are a plus.

A normal teaching load for faculty is three courses per semester, and research is required, although research expectations are commensurate with teaching load.  Summer teaching and competitive research grants are also available. A commitment to academic excellence and the ability to work effectively and collegially is expected.

Meredith College is one of only two women's colleges accredited by AACSB-International.  Meredith is a private, liberal arts college of approximately 1,600 students, serving women at the undergraduate level and women and men in the MBA program.
