The Assistant Director of Admission Operations is key to Meredith’s enrollment success, overseeing admission processes, ensuring data integrity, and leveraging technology to support recruitment efforts and strategic decision-making. Reporting to the Director of Enrollment Operations & Data Management (DEODM), this role assists in managing the Slate Customer Relation Management (CRM) system, ensuring smooth integration, optimizing workflows, and driving data-driven recruitment strategies. Preferred qualifications include expertise in Slate CRM and a strong understanding of student recruitment strategies.

What You’ll Do:
- Lead and Collaborate: Partner with senior leadership to help execute strategies aimed at attracting and enrolling new students.
- Manage Technology: Assist with the development and upkeep of the CRM system (Slate), ensuring smooth communication and efficient data management.
- Drive Results: Implement streamlined processes that enhance operational efficiency and improve recruitment outcomes.
- Continuous Improvement: Facilitate ongoing process improvements across departments, gathering requirements and delivering tailored solutions within Enrollment Management.
- Technology Coordination: Aid Director in all technology-related initiatives to support student services in Enrollment Management.
- Innovative Solutions: Collaborate with leadership in Enrollment Management to design and deploy technological solutions that boost enrollment, retention, and graduation rates.
- Liaison Role: Act as the secondary contact for Colleague (SIS), Slate CRM, and related operations across admissions and other departments.
- Event Support: Provide support for both Slate-based and in-person events.
- Application Processing & Management: Manages application & document processing for a specified cohort of students; Administer and update online applications, including adding and deactivating programs, resetting passwords, and adjusting start terms.
- Training & Support: Deliver training for professional and operational staff on the use of Slate, and develop materials for new processes and procedures.
- Communication Management: Oversee the communication flow for first-year, transfer, second-degree, wings, and readmit students, ensuring timely coordination of communications and mailings.

What We’re Looking For:
- Experience: Two to three years of advanced experience with CRMs, particularly Slate, plus three years of related professional experience.
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree required.
- Tech Expertise: Strong proficiency in database management, with a keen interest in using technology to optimize processes.
- Problem-Solver: A strategic, solution-oriented thinker with excellent communication skills and a dedication to a “student-first” approach.

Qualifications:
- Two to three years of mid-level experience and knowledge of database management. Experience with SLATE and Ellucian Colleague is a plus.
- A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related discipline, along with three years of relevant experience, including at least one year in a management role. Equivalent education and experience combinations will also be considered.
- Proven experience in process improvement, project management, and troubleshooting.
- Exceptional communication skills with a strong ability to organize and prioritize tasks.
- A solid understanding of student recruitment strategies and a commitment to a “student-centered” approach.
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, Google Suite or similar software tools.
- Extensive experience with database management.
